Once the ETHS Athletic Complex opened for business, it didn't take long before the routines of schlepping snack bar inventory across town and our Varsity team having to commute to a rival turf to play a 'Home' game became distance memories.  Prior to the stadium upgrade in 2013, our Varsity team and families were always at an 'Away' location - even if it was a 'Home' game.

Getting the athletic complex upgrade approved was no small feat.  While there were a number of people that supported the project (including Trabuco Hills residents who were having to deal with home game traffic every Friday night), there were some that cited concerns about the facility.  Fortunately, the complex upgrade was approved.

We are very fortunate to have the facilities that we do today.  There's a true sense of community being able to play our home games at El Toro.  It also allows the ETHS groups that utilize the complex to have more control over their financial destinies than what was available before.

The ET Football program is eternally grateful for those that worked to get the complex upgraded and those that continue to maintain it as a top-tier facility.
