La Habra High School / August 27th, 2015

The La Habra Highlander JV Squad must have felt fortunate when they were able to turn away 2 late El Toro Charger drives to hang on to a 21-20 win over the Chargers. Austin Derrico had a pick 6 and a 35 TD reception for the Chargers. Marcus Blevins scored the other TD on a 2 yard carry. Noah Aguilar had a phenomenal game playing all phases including special teams. He finished with 8 catches and many big tackles on defense and special teams. Ben Chretin, ET’s Center, anchored the offensive line that did a good job against the big La Habra defensive front. Next week the JV Squad will travel to Chula Vista to take on the Eastlake Titans and look to even their record at 1-1.
